What is the Parent Association?

The Parents Association is the structure through which parents in a school can work together for the best possible education for their children. The Parents Association works with the Principal, teachers and Board of Management to build effective partnerships between home and school.

How to Become Involved!

As a parent/guardian with a child in the school, you are automatically a member of the Parents Association.
The Parents Association communicates with and represents the entire parent body in the school.
Parents are encouraged to come to PA meetings, join in activities and to bring in lots of new ideas.
The PA runs many events throughout the year, all to benefit the children in S.N. Bhaile Chláir na Gaillimhe.
Fundraising events help to raise valuable funds for our school.
If you’d like to help out, let us know — you can do as little or as much as you like.

Even if you can only take part in a minor way, your contribution is welcome!

Parent Association Meetings

Parents Association meetings are held throughout the year.

All parents are notified in advance of scheduled meetings.

PA meetings are a great opportunity to meet some other parents and bring forward any suggestions you feel may benefit the children and the school, so please join us.
